Mewbi

Mewbi sign-in, purchase recovery and devices

Restore Mewbi’s Play Pack with your purchase email. Understand the three-device limit, signing out versus releasing a device, and pending payments.

Free companionship needs no sign-in. Verify an email when buying or restoring the Play Pack, or when using account features such as cloud search.

Restore the Play Pack on your Mac

  1. Open Account & Play Pack from the cat’s menu, or from Settings → General.
  2. Enter the email used for the purchase and verify it with the emailed code. Never give that code to someone else.
  3. Choose Sync purchase / restore and wait for this Mac to show a verified or active Play Pack.
  4. Return to the cat’s menu and choose a purchased toy. A browser success page alone does not finish device activation.

The website and desktop app use the same purchase account. A legacy Lingo Buddy extension purchase does not automatically become a Mewbi desktop license. Recovery does not copy another computer’s cat name, preferences or relationship memories.

What if all three device slots are used?

The Play Pack allows one person to use the included local content on up to three activated computers across Mac and Windows combined. When the list is full, identify a computer you no longer need, explicitly release it and then restore on the new one. A recent-sync timestamp does not show all use: offline use is valid too.

A remote release can block further online use of old sessions but cannot immediately remove copies on an offline computer. Releasing the current device removes its matching local license and session. Windows being included in the license scope does not mean a public installer is available; check platform availability.

Signing out is different from deleting an account

Signing out of an online session does not erase an existing permanent offline license. Activated local toys can keep working offline. Cloud search needs an eligible signed-in account and device activation. Account deletion affects online recovery and removes this device’s matching license after confirmation. Contact support first if you still need recovery access; do not use deletion as an ordinary sign-out.

Pending payment, missing license or no email

  • If a payment may be confirming asynchronously, wait and sync again before paying a second time.
  • Use the purchase email, check spam and read the displayed error. Request a new code through the interface if the old one has expired.
  • If a device was released or sign-in expired, verify again and explicitly restore when prompted. Do not keep clearing local data to retry.
  • If the issue continues, contact buddy@lingo-bear.com with a receipt reference, app version and exact error. Do not send verification codes or full payment details.
