Sales and Refund Terms

1. Product and availability

Mewbi is a desktop companion for Mac. The Play Pack is available at the current early bird prices of US$9.99 or CNY ¥68.00 as a one-time purchase. The current product list, supported systems, currency, tax treatment and final checkout total will be shown before payment. There is no subscription or physical delivery. Future content is not included unless explicitly listed; undelivered coat colors do not form part of the current purchase.

2. License and delivery

The Play Pack grants one person permanent use of the included local content on up to three activated computers across Mac and Windows combined. Initial activation and purchase recovery require internet access and verified ownership. Activated local content works offline without periodic renewal. Signing out an online session does not erase a permanent local license. Releasing this device removes its local license and session; remote release prevents further online use of its old sessions, but cannot immediately stop offline copies. Last-sync time does not measure offline use and does not trigger automatic slot reclamation. Desktop email accounts do not automatically inherit legacy extension purchases. Delivery follows verified payment confirmation, not a success-page visit. Purchase recovery does not synchronize your cat’s name or relationship memories. Paid props are not available for trials; purchase is required to use them.

3. Free companionship and cloud features

The base companion and its comfort and privacy controls stay free. Yarn and balloons, with their default looks, are free. Parachutes and finder glasses require the Play Pack. Cloud recognition is available to owners, subject to usage limits and availability; the local license does not include permanent or unlimited cloud service.

4. Refunds

Purchases are final; we do not offer discretionary refunds. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies required by applicable law, including remedies for duplicate charges, non-delivery or a defective product. Contact buddy@lingo-bear.com. Please include your receipt or payment reference, never full card details. Duplicate charges, delivery failures and unresolved compatibility problems receive priority. A refund removes the license granted by that order, not local companion data or another valid purchase. Payment-method processing times and applicable consumer rights still apply.

5. Maintenance and support

Fixes within the published maintenance and supported-system scope are free. This is not a promise of unlimited adaptation to every future operating system. M1 content updates are included for existing purchasers. New characters, distinct themes or major new content may be sold separately with clear scope. If the licensing service is retired, we will announce it and provide a way to keep using purchased local content without that service.

Account changes and deletion

Email changes preserve the account identifier and verified orders and require proof of both email addresses. Contact support if you cannot access the original email; a receipt alone is insufficient. Deleting an account removes online recovery access and this Mac’s matching license after explicit confirmation, while financial records remain for reconciliation. Contact support first if you need to preserve purchase recovery. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.

6. Seller and applicable rights

For ordinary Stripe Checkout purchases, the operator listed above is the seller and Stripe processes payments. Governing law is Singapore law, subject to mandatory protections in your location. Contact support first with problems; nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Supported-system requirements are shown on the download page; the maintenance scope is described above.
